The incident took place on Tuesday night when a 'go-fast' car, used by traffickers to transport drugs, was chased by Belgian police. The car was involved in a collision with another vehicle on a road in Angevillers, France, 40 km from the Belgian border. The Belgian and French authorities frequently cooperate in such cases and the investigation was taken over by the Thionville Investigation Brigade.
