The new eYou application, developed by entrepreneurs Grégoire Vigroux and Jasseem Allybokus, is entering the pre-launch phase with the aim of creating a European alternative to dominant social networks. The platform aims to reduce misinformation and provide users with greater control over their personal data, storing all information within the European Union.
An innovative aspect of eYou is the information verification system, which analyzes each post using four artificial intelligence models, classifying the content as true, partially true, or false. Additionally, the application promotes diversity of opinions and allows users to customize their content feed. With an initial investment of 300,000 euros, eYou targets users interested in debates and ideas, not entertainment.
The public launch is scheduled for May 2026, and the founders are seeking additional funding for expansion. In the context of the European Union seeking to strengthen its digital autonomy, eYou could become an example of a social platform built on European principles.
