Nicolas Lerner said that Iran's nuclear program has been seriously affected by the June attacks, with a significant delay in its uranium enrichment capability and development of nuclear technologies. Although the Pentagon estimates a delay of at least two years, Lerner emphasized the uncertainty over nuclear material and the risks of a clandestine program. Iran has suspended cooperation with the IAEA, complicating monitoring of the situation.
