The Ministry of Interior of Afghanistan announced that the casualty report following an explosion that occurred in a hotel in the Shahr-e-Naw commercial district is provisional, and the exact number of affected individuals has not been established. The ministry's spokesperson, Abdul Mateen Qani, confirmed that several people have died and been injured as a result of the incident. Khalid Zadran, the spokesperson for the Kabul police, specified that the explosion targeted an area that houses offices, shopping centers, and embassies. Authorities have isolated the affected perimeter and continue investigations to determine the cause of the explosion and the identity of those responsible.
