The ministry's spokesperson, Abdul Mateen Qani, confirmed that several people have died and been injured as a result of the incident. Khalid Zadran, the spokesperson for the Kabul police, specified that the explosion targeted an area that houses offices, shopping centers, and embassies. Authorities have isolated the affected perimeter and continue investigations to determine the cause of the explosion and the identity of those responsible.
