European stock markets rose sharply, with Frankfurt's Dax index hitting an all-time high of 24,639.10 points. London's FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 in Paris also climbed as investors were upbeat about US-EU tariff negotiations. Tariffs vary and the EU hopes to keep tariffs at 10% on European goods. The price of bitcoin also topped $112,000, while oil prices fell slightly.
