European arms manufacturers are in a difficult situation, urgently needing skilled workers to cope with the increase in military orders. Although engineers, programmers, and welders are sought after, they prefer other fields of activity. Companies in the defense sector need to change their image and offer attractive conditions to attract talented young people. Estimates show that by 2030, Europe could need up to 760,000 skilled workers in defense. However, recruitment is hindered by the negative perception of the industry and the shortage of specialists in science and technology.
