Ukraine has received €294bn in foreign aid since the start of the war, with a significant increase in European support in March and April, totalling €20.2bn. In contrast, the United States has not announced new aid under the Trump administration, although arms deliveries have continued. Europe, led by the UK and the Nordic countries, compensated for this US cut. However, Germany, Italy and Spain have reduced their contributions. European aid has now overtaken US military aid.
