Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Poland recorded the highest minimum wage increase in the EU, while France and Malta had the lowest rate of increase.

Between January 2015 and January 2025, these countries saw increases of between 10% and 14%, according to Eurostat data. There are also big differences in the monthly minimum wage across EU member states, reaching up to more than €1,500 in some countries, while in others it is below €1,000.
