EU foreign ministers meet on Tuesday to discuss the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East. High on the meeting's agenda is the 18th sanctions package against Russia, targeting the financial and energy sectors. The sanctions proposal has been put on hold due to Slovakia's reluctance to approve it. Ministers will also discuss humanitarian access to Gaza in the context of the recent agreement with Israel. Andrii Sybiga, Ukrainian foreign minister, will participate by video link.
