In the annual report of the Estonian foreign intelligence service, it is stated that Russia does not intend to attack a NATO state this year or next year, but it is rapidly rebuilding its military capabilities against the backdrop of Europe's accelerated rearmament. Kaupo Rosin, the head of the Estonian service, emphasized the importance of investments in defense to deter Russia. The report also indicates that Moscow is expanding its ammunition production to create the necessary stocks for future conflicts while continuing the war in Ukraine. In the event of an attack on Estonia, Russia could use drones simultaneously across the entire territory.

The report emphasizes that Russia considers the United States its main adversary, despite an apparent openness to cooperation. The Kremlin's objectives remain unchanged, aiming to marginalize the United States and reshape the European security architecture. Additionally, the strategic collaboration between Russia and China is highlighted, aimed at weakening Western influence. The authors warn that any concession made to Russia could fuel China's global ambitions.
