Elon Musk acknowledged in an interview with The Economist that he became too absorbed in politics during his collaboration with Donald Trump, when he led the 'Department of Government Efficiency' (Doge).
Musk stated that his political involvement had a significant impact, including a financial support of 200 million dollars for Trump. Although he admitted that his approach was only partially successful, he seems to enjoy the influence he wields.
Musk discussed artificial intelligence, predicting that it will transform human work and lead to an era of 'amazing abundance.' He also anticipated the need for wealth redistribution and a high universal income.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, Musk suggested that a peace agreement should include territorial gains for Russia. The interview also included controversial statements about the United Kingdom, which Musk sees on the brink of a civil war. He also speculated that the universe could be a simulation created by aliens.
