The first reaction of the Kremlin after the election results in Hungary. Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev claims that the collapse of the EU will accelerate.

Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the President of Russia for investments, stated that the result of the elections in Hungary will contribute to the acceleration of the decline of the European Union. His comments come in the context where the opposition party Tisza won 138 out of 199 seats in the National Assembly of Hungary, marking the end of Viktor Orbán's regime, which has ruled the country for 16 years.

Kirill Dmitriev emphasized that the collapse of the EU is inevitable and provoked a reaction from British activist Tommy Robinson, who claimed that Hungary has "fallen" after these elections. Péter Magyar, the leader of Tisza, stated that Hungarians said "yes" to Europe and a free Hungary, urging Orbán's supporters to resign from state institutions. This political change could pave the way for significant reforms in Hungary.
