According to preliminary results published by the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus, with approximately 45% of votes counted, ELAM, an ultra-nationalist party linked to Golden Dawn in Greece, has obtained 11.1% of the votes, a significant increase from 6.8% in the last legislative elections in 2021.

DISY, the right-wing party, and the communist AKEL obtained 27% and, respectively, 22.8% of the votes, with a slight decrease for DISY and an increase for AKEL. Although the executive power returns to the presidency of Cyprus, these elections are seen as an indicator of political trends ahead of the presidential elections in 2028. The centrist parties that support President Christodoulides, Diko, Dipa, and EDEK, seem to achieve weaker results.

The campaign was marked by concerns related to corruption and the cost of living, and ELAM promoted a firm stance against migration. Additionally, ALMA, a new movement advocating for political accountability, secured just over 6% of the votes, ensuring parliamentary representation for the first time.
