According to The Moscow Times, a drone attack caused a fire at the Oil Terminal in St. Petersburg, the largest oil transshipment complex in Russia on the Baltic Sea, with an annual capacity of 12.5 million tons.

The incident occurred on the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, where Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to speak. The terminal is located about 17 kilometers from the venue of the forum, highlighting the strategic importance of the facility for Russia's national security.
