On Wednesday, a drone attack carried out by Russian forces targeted a bus in the city of Kherson, resulting in four deaths and four injuries, according to the regional prosecutor's announcement.
The bus was traveling on a street frequently attacked by Russians, and images posted by local authorities show a yellow minibus with broken windows and blood on the asphalt. Kherson, a city with approximately 280,000 residents before the war, was under Russian control from March until November 2022. Since then, Russian forces, located on the opposite bank of the Dnipro River, continue to attack the city with drones.
The Kherson region remains partially occupied by Russians, and attacks have intensified, causing an increasing number of civilian casualties, nearly four and a half years after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
