In the last 48 hours, a violent storm has affected Turkey, resulting in the death of four men and one woman, according to local press. Among the victims is a 58-year-old man from Karaman and a 60-year-old woman from near Aksaray, who were struck by torn-off roofs. In Bursa, a 24-year-old Syrian man was killed by a collapsed wall, and in Denizli, a pensioner died after falling from the roof of his house. Also, in the resort of Kuşadası, a worker was swept away by the waves, and his body was found, while his colleagues were hospitalized. The storm caused significant damage in Istanbul, where dozens of yachts were damaged and nearly a hundred roofs were torn off, and 45 trees fell.
