More than 230 firefighters, supported by helicopters, are fighting the blaze. The Greek authorities warn Romanian tourists to be aware of traffic restrictions and to follow instructions in case of alerts. The heatwave is also affecting other European countries, causing deaths and fires. Climate change is contributing to these extreme events.
