The Danish government reacted to information suggesting that American citizens, especially those linked to the Trump administration, had conducted secret operations in Greenland. Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen emphasized that any interference in Denmark's internal affairs is unacceptable. He requested the summoning of the U.S. chargé d'affaires for discussions. President Trump had previously expressed interest in control over the island for security reasons. The U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen did not comment on the situation.
