Dacia has confirmed that the production of the new Striker model will take place in Turkey, with the commercial debut expected in the second half of the year, at an estimated price below 25,000 euros. Renault representatives explained that the decision to assemble the Striker in Turkey is based on the efficient use of production capacities and maintaining the competitiveness of the group. Dacia's CEO, Katrin Adt, emphasized that the factory in Pitești is operating close to maximum capacity, and this choice is not against Romania. The Striker model will be a crossover with multi-energy powertrains, including full-hybrid versions. At the same time, group officials have signaled issues related to production costs and the productivity of the Mioveni plant, highlighting significant increases in expenses in recent years.
