The pilot project is being carried out on a 50 km stretch of the D3 highway between Tabor and Ceske Budejovice, where 42 electronic billboards are installed. The speed limit of 150 km/h will be displayed only in favorable conditions, while in bad weather the speed will be limited to 130 km/h. Testing will start in September 2025 and the results will influence the decision to extend the limit on other stretches. This initiative is part of the 2023 legislative changes.
