The case involves allegations made by Nikita Hand, who claims she was sexually assaulted by Conor McGregor on December 9, 2018. In his appeal, 36-year-old McGregor denied the allegations, saying there was a consensual sexual relationship between them and that he did not cause injury to the victim. In November 2024, he was found guilty of rape and ordered by a jury to pay about €250,000 in damages.
