In front of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Elbridge Colby stated that American operations in Iran focus on the military capability of the Islamic Republic to threaten American interests and those of allies in the Gulf region and the Middle East. Colby emphasized that the targets of the attacks are Iran's missile stockpiles, which have increased significantly and pose a threat, as well as the Iranian navy vessels. Regarding the elimination of leaders in Tehran, Colby mentioned that these operations are actually carried out by Israel. Recently, the United States and Israel have conducted attacks against Iran, resulting in the deaths of at least 780 people, including the former supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
