The incident occurred on January 5, 2024, when she fell down the stairs, suffering multiple injuries, including a concussion. Her attorney highlighted the dangers of all-inclusive packages that encourage excessive alcohol consumption. Carnival stated that it disagrees with the verdict and intends to appeal. Additionally, another similar case is underway, involving a suspicious death on another cruise ship.
