Carlo Acutis, a young Italian born in Great Britain, will be canonized on September 7, thus becoming the first Catholic saint of the millennial generation. He died of leukemia at the age of 15 and used his programming skills to promote faith. The ceremony, led by Pope Leo XIV, will attract tens of thousands of believers. His tomb in Assisi is already a popular pilgrimage site. His mother claims that his popularity is due to the fact that he lived an ordinary life but always put faith first.
