Canada's participation is not ruled out, considering that Eurovision has included non-European countries, such as Australia. In 2022, Canada attempted to launch its own version of the contest but withdrew in 2023. The 2026 edition is expected to be complicated, with tensions among participating countries regarding Israel's participation, and the vote on this issue has been postponed until December.
