Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers shows that exports of all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars to Brazil rose 13 times year-on-year to 40,613 units in April. The increase comes as Brazil plans to raise tariffs on imports of electric and hybrid vehicles to encourage local production.
