The American group Boeing has announced that it will produce AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for international customers, including 96 units for the Polish Armed Forces, under a contract worth nearly 4.7 billion dollars awarded by the U.S. Army. This is the largest order of Apache helicopters outside the United States in the history of the program. The Polish Ministry of National Defense, which already has eight Apache helicopters on lease, is training pilots and maintenance personnel for these aircraft. Additionally, the Pentagon has confirmed that Boeing has won two contracts worth a total of over 7 billion dollars, including the one for the Apache helicopters.
