After 28 years of searching, the body of Naseeruddin, a Pakistani man who went missing in 1997, has been discovered in a glacier in Kohistan. He was quickly identified thanks to an intact ID card found on his person. He is believed to have fallen into a crevasse during a storm while seeking shelter with his brother. The discovery was made possible by melting glaciers caused by climate change, which preserved the body in ideal conditions. His brother will decide the burial place.
