Three aircraft frames from the Blue Air fleet, which is in bankruptcy, have been auctioned for over 140,000 euros and will be transformed into hotels and restaurants. The entrepreneur from Brașov who bought one aircraft frame plans to build a hotel, while another businessman has purchased another frame. Flavius Drăghici, COO of the azitis.com platform, mentioned that two more aircraft frames and other planes are still available for sale, attracting interest from investors in the HoReCa sector.
The sold planes are Boeing 737-530 type, and the starting price for other listed planes is 238,250 euros each. Blue Air entered insolvency in March 2023 and is state-owned.
