Bimbo, the Mexican group, has acquired Karamolegos Bakery Romania, which supplies packaged retail breads, without giving details of the deal. Karamolegos Bakery Romania reported for 2023 business of €7.13 million and a profit of €674,000. Bimbo entered the Romanian market in 2023 with the acquisition of Vel Pitar and reported an increase in net sales but a decrease in net profit.
