Known as the Pukpuk Treaty (meaning 'crocodile' in the pidgin of Papua New Guinea), the bilateral agreement is the most recent of the agreements made between the nations of the Pacific and the countries that dispute their presence in the region, such as the USA and China. The treaty also includes greater collaboration around cyberspace and electromagnetic warfare.
