After losing the French Open final to Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka made comments she considered unprofessional, saying she lost because of her own mistakes, not her opponent's game. Sabalenka later realized her remarks were inappropriate and contacted Gauff to apologize. She admitted that she had let her emotions get the better of her and that she has learned from the experience and is now preparing for the grass-court competition.
