On Saturday, a shooting incident occurred in Kiev when an unknown man opened fire on passersby. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that several people died as a result of the attack, and among the injured is a child, who was urgently transported to the hospital. The victims are receiving medical care on site. The attacker took hostages and fired at the police, after which he barricaded himself in a store. Special forces have been deployed to the scene, and the police are preparing for an assault on the location. Additional details about the motives of the attack and the identity of the assailant have not yet been provided.
