Apple is in advanced stages of development for three innovative devices: smart glasses, headphones with video cameras, and a pendant with artificial intelligence. The smart glasses, which will enter production in December and launch in 2027, will compete with Meta's products. They will include microphones, speakers, and high-resolution cameras, but will not have a screen. Their functions will allow for making calls, playing music, and identifying objects in the environment through a dedicated AI camera. Unlike Meta, Apple will develop the frames of the glasses in-house, using higher quality materials.
Alongside the glasses, Apple is working on a pendant the size of an AirTag, equipped with a camera and microphone for the Siri assistant. The company may also launch a new version of the AirPods headphones, equipped with cameras for environmental analysis through AI. All these devices will be connected to the iPhone, facilitating interaction with Siri for various tasks.
