The defeated candidate in Poland's presidential election, Rafal Trzaskowski, has lodged a complaint with the Supreme Court, citing voting irregularities. He lost to nationalist Karol Nawrocki and the press reported problems in the electoral process. The court ordered recounts in 13 precincts, but the final result will not be significantly affected. Trzaskowski and his team emphasize the importance of respecting the vote, while opposition party PiS accuses attempts to undermine confidence in the democratic process. The electoral commission confirmed incidents that could have influenced the outcome of the vote.
