The American Music Awards (AMAs) are returning to Las Vegas for the 52nd edition, scheduled for May 25, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The event will be broadcast live on CBS and will also be available on Paramount+. Last year's edition, hosted by Jennifer Lopez, also took place on May 25, but at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The nominations for the AMAs 2026 will recognize 'the most influential artists and songs of today', based on fan interactions reflected in the Billboard charts, including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay, and tour grosses. The list of nominees will be revealed on April 14, and the winners will be chosen by fan voting. The show will also include special performances, promoted as a 'multi-genre and intergenerational celebration of music'. Additional details will be announced in the coming weeks. The American Music Awards was created by Dick Clark Productions, owned by Penske Media Corporation.
