Amazon will invest 1 billion dollars to raise employee salaries

Amazon has stated that the average salary will exceed 23 dollars per hour, with increases of 1.10 to 1.90 dollars for long-term employees. They will benefit from an annual income increase of approximately 1,600 dollars. Additionally, Amazon will reduce the cost of the basic health plan to 5 dollars per week, which will decrease weekly contributions by 34% and copayments by 87%. In the context of the strikes in December, the company was forced to improve working conditions to prevent musculoskeletal disorders.
