Trump said the Armenian prime minister and the Azerbaijani president will sign agreements with the US to explore economic opportunities in the South Caucasus. These agreements could end decades of conflict and facilitate the reopening of transportation corridors. A key aspect of the agreement is the establishment of a transit corridor dubbed the 'Trump Route to International Peace and Prosperity', which will connect Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan. Although the corridor will include major infrastructure, its development will be carried out by private corporations, not the US.
