A Russian sentenced in Great Britain after Barron Trump alerted the police

A Russian citizen, Matvei Rumiantsev, was sentenced to four years in prison by a British court for assaulting a woman, after Barron Trump, the son of the American president, witnessed the incident via a video call. During the call made from the USA, Barron Trump noticed that his friend was being assaulted and immediately alerted the police in London. Judge Joel Bennathan emphasized that Rumiantsev filmed the assault, trying to humiliate the victim. The woman suffered bruises and scratches as a result of the attack. Rumiantsev was found guilty of assault and obstruction of justice, receiving a two-year sentence for each offense, to be served consecutively.
