The European Commission has announced funding for six projects to make battery cells for electric vehicles, totaling €852 million from the Innovation Fund. These initiatives in France, Germany, Sweden and Poland aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop sustainable manufacturing technologies. The projects will generate an annual capacity of 56 GWh of batteries and contribute to the EU's climate neutrality goals.
