A concerning incident occurred on Mount Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, where a seven-year-old boy was found alone by a cabin keeper on a trail. His father, aged 48, left him behind to continue the ascent to the summit with his older son. At the sixth stage of the trail, the child stated that he was tired, and the father told him to wait there.
The cabin keeper discovered the boy on a bench, in rainy and snowy conditions, and took him to safety, notifying the police. It is estimated that the boy was left alone around 4:30 PM, while the father reached nearly the eighth stage. Authorities asked the father to return, and the child was unharmed. The incident sparked criticism online, and authorities emphasized the importance of not leaving anyone behind during hikes, considering the changing weather conditions on the mountain.
