A search of an abandoned house in Irapuato, Guanajuato, uncovered 32 bodies dismembered in plastic bags as part of a missing persons investigation. Fifteen of the victims have been identified and the identification process continues. Guanajuato is Mexico's most violent state, with more than 3,600 people missing and an alarming number of homicides, and is the scene of cartel rivalry. Morgues are overcrowded with unidentified bodies, with estimates putting the number at between 50,000 and 72,000.
