An aircraft operating a Jet2 flight from Manchester to Alicante took off without 31 passengers, even though they had completed check-in and were heading to the boarding gate.

Due to an incorrect direction in Terminal 2, passengers were led into an isolated area, inaccessible to the aircraft, where they remained for approximately 40 minutes, without clear information. Meanwhile, the plane was authorized for takeoff. The airline announced the initiation of an internal investigation and expressed regret for the incident. Jet2 arranged alternative flights for the affected passengers, ensuring that they would reach their desired destination in the following flights.
