Dutch prosecutors announced the arrest of fifteen individuals suspected of disseminating Islamic State (ISIS) propaganda on TikTok and inciting terrorist attacks. The arrests took place on Tuesday after a TikTok account promoting ISIS propaganda was identified, featuring subtitles in Dutch.
The posts, viewed over 100,000 times, encouraged joining ISIS and glorified martyrdom for the jihadist organization. Among the suspects, thirteen are Syrian, and four are Dutch, some holding dual citizenship. Their ages range from 16 to 53 years, including four minors.
The arrests were made following raids across the country, after the capture of a key suspect last month.
