The bodies of 12 people, mostly foreigners, were discovered in sleeping rooms above an Indian restaurant in Gudauri, Georgia's largest ski resort. The Georgian authorities believe the cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning, probably caused by a generator that was switched on during a blackout. No signs of violence were found on the bodies.
