The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, declared that the first Burn Center built in Romania after the Revolution, located in Timișoara, is nearly completed.

The building is erected, and currently, the stage of equipment acquisition and testing of medical flows is underway. The center will include essential facilities, such as UPU-SMURD, beds for intermediate and post-critical burns, an ICU section, an operating block with 25 operating rooms, and a helipad for rapid transfers. Additionally, a connecting bridge will be constructed to the existing hospital buildings, optimizing medical circuits.
