A 13-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy underwent a kidney transplant at the Fundeni Clinical Institute, their postoperative outcome was favorable.

At the Fundeni Clinical Institute in Bucharest, Alexandra (13) and Eric (10) underwent a successful kidney transplant, each receiving a kidney from a pediatric donor. Postoperative outcome is good and kidney function is recovering. Academician Ioanel Sinescu emphasized the importance of the act of donation, which turns suffering into hope. The medical team was made up of specialists from Fundeni and "Grigore Alexandrescu" Children's Emergency Hospital.
