The Department for Emergency Situations (DSU) recommends checking road conditions and properly equipping vehicles for winter. Meteorologists announce extremely cold weather, with temperatures dropping to as low as -20 degrees, and snowfall in several areas of the country. The yellow code warnings particularly target Banat, Crișana, Maramureș, and Transylvania, with minimum temperatures between -19 and -9 degrees. Authorities are monitoring the situation and are prepared to intervene in case of emergency.
