Huge compensation after an act of malpractice. Gynecologist and Filatropia Hospital in Bucharest must pay a patient 80,000 euros

The Filantropia Hospital in Bucharest and the gynecologist Mădălina Gheorghe have been ordered to pay moral damages of 80,000 euros to a patient, after an abortion procedure led to a uterine perforation. Although the patient reported severe symptoms, she was sent home, and her condition worsened, later requiring an emergency surgical intervention at another hospital.
