The National Strategy for Combating Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases 2025-2030 aims to increase the health of the population and improve healthcare services. It addresses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, given that these diseases are the main causes of death and disability in Romania. The strategy includes measures to reduce smoking, optimize diet and promote an active lifestyle, as well as the development of the health information system and innovation initiatives.
